Had dinner here last Saturday night and had the most amazing experience. The service was awesome, the staff were attentive and checked on us regularly, ensuring we were satisfied and ready for the next course to be brought out. The food was absolutely incredible, well worth the price it cost.

The food was delicious, started with Tuna Sashimi, them Tempura prawns and Duck pate followed by Snapper and Beef curry - All was great to eat The service was the thing that let it down, it was obviously training night for a couple of the team and receiving our sides for the main completely but itself (between courses) was a bit different. Overall was a good experience and great food - would go again

Again, we chose Suq as our place to celebrate my husband's birthday (70yrs young!) with our son, who experienced the deliciousness for the the first time, and gorged through the 9 shared courses (yep!!). The amazing food and service is second to none, and we will no doubt be back again to savor our palates with the wonderful delights offered from this kitchen! Thank you!!

We enjoyed a fabulous meal for two via their shared plates menu Very fresh, infused flavours and delicious! A limited menu ensures freshness and highly polished and presented dishes Enjoyed 2 wines and the Coulston & Co “Nambucca” sav Blanc was sensational Excellent service provided

Lovely atmosphere, small but very cozy. Greeted at the door, very attentive and pleasant staff. The food is absolutely delicious. My partner and I found the share plates plentiful and got to enjoy each course but we did order seperate desserts. Even though neither of us eat seafood we chose the eye fillet steak with lobster which was cooked to perfection. We were able to try zucchini flowers for the first time which were delightful! Thoroughly enjoyed each course. My partner ordered the chocolate fondant and although she enjoyed it, said it could be served for two. Will definitely be going back. Recommend booking your table if you don't want to miss out or wait as all tables filled when we visited.

We had the pleasure in dining at Suq on a cold Thursday evening. The food was amazing, the service fanatic and the atmosphere very cozy. A memorable evening with family. Food was so good I could only take photos after it was gone. You need to go!

I took my partner to SUQ on 6 January 2026, to let her experience the SUQ magic. And Michael and his team didn’t let us down, again. The food was divine, the service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.

I had my birthday dinner at Suq last week and it was exceptional. We were early but they accommodated us without fuss. The food was amazing. We had arancini - best I’ve ever had. The beetroot and goats cheese starter was delicious and the servings were perfect for 2. We then had the fish which was great but the prawn hotpot was superb. Each dish was timed perfectly, presented like a piece of art and was fresh and interesting without being unrecognisably deconstructed. The waiter (Gabriel) was friendly and attentive and overall we just had a lovely time. We over ordered and couldn’t fit dessert in but will definitely try it next time.

Suq Restaurant ~ Absolutely exceptional (cheeky quick mid week) dining experience. The culinary skill and excellence is phenomenal. You can really understand why the Chef is so frequently written up in the paper. The restaurant has a warm ‘family run restaurant’ vibe with the excellence and finish you’d expect from fine dining. We were in and out in less than an hour (at our request ~ thank you Chef) as we had our little one with us.. however, many guests were dining, trying the menu, enjoying cocktails or a bottle of wine over the course of the evening. The Mid week specials + a locals mid week chefs choice is great. The main menu has a selection of light but really special entrees that are easy to share. Mains are more substantial with a really good variety of dishes such as incredible sushimi, perfect pork belly and tempura prawns that are honestly the best we’ve had. The balance of flavours and the culinary skill is what we look for if we are going to go out for dinner. Really special dish’s and the menu is set in such a way you can try a few different things which we absolutely loved. Even our little fussy eater was impressed with Zucchini flowers & the pork. We absolutely love local restaurants but even more so when the food is at such an exemplary level as the menu at Suq. We requested a take away dessert which was kindly accommodated ~ we can only say thank you Chef! Dinner was exceptional. Monique and the team provided excellent service. Highly recommend Suq for its exquisite food, warm service, great wine and stand out desserts! Mid week for easy dining worked so well for us 🙏🏼 🍷🍴

Has dinner at Suq last night & the food & service was exceptional. We shared 5 small plates for 2 which was plenty but there were so many other options we are yet to try so we will definitely be back.
